Mastodon is one open source client on the decentralized “ActivityPub” social protocol. There are many. We took that code and updated it a bit to include RDD support, and published it at https://redd.live. We’ll be using that as both a live social network for our community as well as a “sandbox” to build tipping functionality on top of. This is literally the first baby step of what we’ve been planning and working toward for quite some time.
